Old Montreal is a historic area located southeast of downtown containing many different attractions to see. The Old Port of Montreal, Place Jacques-Cartier, Montreal City Hall, the Bonsecours Market, Place d'Armes, Pointe-à-Callière Museum, the Notre-Dame de Montréal Basilica, and the Montreal Science Centre are just some of the amazing places to visit while in Montreal. The Mount Royal Park is one of Montreal's largest green spaces and is the Central Park of Montreal (funny enough both parks were designed by the same person). As well as some amazing places to visit, the cuisine is also amazing, its a blend of traditional and French. The French Canadian culture one experiences in Montreal is like no other. This is truly a worthwhile place to visit.
